Oldskool shaving
By Kolb
Al right, every man has to shave himself once in a while. While you can shave yourself with a manual safety razor or an electric razor, the feeling afterwards of doing it by hand feels so much better. That's why I'm going the oldskool way.
Once I have the money I will shave myself with some real style, with a straight razor. Take a look at the picture. You've probably seen it before in some movies or maybe you even own one - respect.
Another cool aspect of straight shaving is that it needs practice. You have to go through a learning curve. The right shaving angle, sharpening your razor with a leather strop and most important your lather should be perfect.
Goodbye safety razors, a straight razor or a cut-throat (watch the movie below and it will all become clear) is so damn masculine. So goddamn repcred.
A straight razor is not cheap but I think it is worth the money. It's like a Zippo, one buy, never to replace. A testosterone bomb.
Watch the famous Reservoir Dogs scene where Mr. Blond fools around with a straight razor. If you haven't seen the movie before, shame on you, go see it now. This is cult.
N.B.: Michael Madsen is my hero.

I concur. Since the new vogue of the “new man”, shaving developped the same way. Actually more feminem. For those out there who shave themselves with straight razors – respect.
