N.W.A - Real Hip Hop
By Kolb
Formed in 1986 in Compton, California, one of the first hip hop groups to define a new lifestyle was N.W.A. (Niggaz With Attitude). They marked the era of gangsta rap. This was real, not some fake-ass 50 Cent rapping about his bitches and his 69 cars. No, this was the word from the streets.
Many of the band members are still known nowadays. Famous and successful names in the bling-bling world such as Ice Cube and Dr. Dre. Eazy-E died in 1995 due to the HIV-virus - this radio interview on the Howard Stern show (.mp3 / 2,06 Mb) in 1989 is hilarious when keeping in mind of what he died of. One other band member is active in the porn industry.

Compton is a suburb of Los Angeles, in the dictionary you'll find the word "Ghetto" written next to Compton. You most likely know Compton due to it's violence history, gang wars (Remember the Crips and the Bloods), drugs and off course music.
That's why you have to take a look at this N.W.A music video. The year is 1989 and everything is very old skool. Keep it repcred.
