I remember Flat Eric from the famous Levi commercials back in 1999.

Many years later I just have to pay a tribute to Flat Eric and his friend Angel. They just hang around being cool on the tunes from Mr. Oizo. It’s the perfect world.

Flat Eric was a superstar back in 1999 when the commercials aired. Being interviewed in TV Shows and magazines as a puppet sure isn't common. A very successful marketing campaign is the least you can say.

The Levi site still lists these commercials in their archive but you can no longer download them, a shame.
