Talkin' to me?

Taxi Driver is in my opinion one of the strongest movies ever created. The film was directed by Martin Scorsese in 1976 and had a cast with mostly unknown names such as Harvey Keitel (Reservoir Dogs), Jodie Foster (Silence of the Lamb) and of course the magical Robert De Niro.
I urge you to see the movie. Because this is must-see material. Now 30 years later the story line is so damn current.
Robert De Niro is the Taxi Driver, Jodie Foster plays a prostitute (she was only 14 years old at the time, wonderful acting) and Harvey Keitel is Jodie's pimp. That's all I can tell you now. Go rent/buy the movie if you haven't seen it already.
Taxi Driver still is an inspiration source to many filmmakers. Let's take an excerpt from the great French movie La Haine (1995) and the original part from Taxi Driver.
La Haine - C'est moi tu parle? (1,8 Mb)
Both movies are Repcred approved, respect.

I clicked the la Haine one and was pretty much amazed by the prices. If you’re reading this and thinking bout getting the movie, search around a bit, I got mine (same version, 10 years special edition) for only € 10 which is way less than $ 28.98. Even in Barcelona I found this one (named El Odio there) for € 14. Just a hint.
