Reefer Madness

Reefer Madness basically is pure propaganda. It's a 1936 movie financed by a small church group (and according to some sources, the US government). In Reefer Madness they want to warn the American public about the dangers of marijuana use.

This image is a poster promoting the movie. It's quite hilarious. The same goes for the movie. Missing it's original point completely.

As a smart-educated Repcred reader you will understand the fact that nothing is wrong with the use of cannabis. People all over the world know this for thousands of years. The US government even had a law ordering to grow marijuana for the use of cloths, canvas and many more things. Only recently - speaking 1920 - 1930 - marijuana use has been made illegal. Quite interesting literature, the war on drugs.

Back to the movie, in Reefer Madness you'll see the story of a shifty young dealer who is selling green herbs to high school kids. Later in the movie you'll find those same persons going insane, laughing and having - yes - sex. They even kill someone. All because they smoked a joint. Hi-la-ri-ous.

The only advice I can give you is to watch the movie. Read some text about marijuana (use, history etc) and educate yourself.

    don’t see why you’d repcred it tho, it’s as you know full of crap and therefor doesn’t deserve my respect, yes I had a good laugh, but I wouldn’t buy the movie because I’d be sponsoring the wrong people (and of course you can watch it for free at Google Video :))
